Changing Priorities
I’ve been thinking about a fair amount of fairly interesting stuff lately and working on some cool stuff at work, but the time it would take to write about the Richard Feynman problem solving algorithm, Bayesian statistics, or the preparation I’m doing to get ready for grad school just don’t seem worth it. A goal of mine for the last month or so has been to spend less non-work time at the computer and more time being social, and it’s been phenomenal! Life can be a lot of fun when you make it happen (and stay up past your bedtime every once in a while).
My polite suggestion? Turn off your computer and spend some time with your family and/or friends. Call up your mother and tell her that you love her again (Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!). Read a book. Go for a walk. Play a game. Try something new. Enjoy life
